Infrastructure and Facilities
The Higher Institute of Digital Engineering (HIDE) is equipped with a set of modern facilities and premises that provide an optimal environment for learning, research, and innovation.
Academic and Administrative Spaces
HIDE offers teachers, researchers, and administrative staff functional and well-organized facilities, including notably:
- Director’s office, with a dedicated secretariat
- Administrative offices: general secretariat, main secretariat, finance, academic affairs, and human resources departments
- Faculty areas: meeting rooms, individual offices, and a printing room
- General services: refreshment area, storage room, and two parking lots
The institute covers a total area of
11,000 m², distributed as follows:
- 4,000 m² of open spaces and parking lots
- 6,000 m² of covered space
- 1,000 m² of green space
To meet the requirements of advanced technological training, HIDE has modern and suitable infrastructure:
- 6 computer labs equipped with specialized hardware
- 4 large rooms currently being set up for teaching digital electronics, logic, control systems, and artificial intelligence
- Approximately 20 classrooms, all equipped with video projectors and interactive whiteboards
- Spaces dedicated to conferences and documentation: auditorium, conference room, 4C center, university library
- Premises reserved for student clubs, encouraging initiatives and collaborative projects
Multiservice Center for Cultural and Sports Activities
As part of its commitment to a well-rounded education, the University of Tunis provides HIDE students with a modern multiservice center dedicated to cultural, sports, and artistic activities. It includes:
- Sports halls – Football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, fitness, and swimming
- Recreational spaces – Painting, sculpture, music, and cultural events
- Amphitheaters and multipurpose rooms – Film screenings, theater performances, exhibitions, and conferences
This center allows students to recharge, develop teamwork skills, and enhance their well-being, thus creating a vital balance between academic life and personal growth.
